Become a Kosi Challenger in 2023

November 2, 2022

Registrations are now officially open for the 11th annual Kosi Challenge.

Join us on Saturday, 18 March 2023 to conquer Australia’s highest point, Mount Kosciuszko, or take on your own challenge by getting involved virtually in the lead up.

We’ll give you everything you need to track your fundraising and preparation progress online and cheer you on right to the finish line.

After a record-breaking event in 2022, with 732 participants raising more than $562,500, we are looking to make 2023 a year to remember.

You can help us by:

Registering at www.kosichallenge.com.au

You have the option to participate in-person, taking in the spectacular Kosciuszko National Park as you make your way towards Australia’s highest point, the summit of Mount Kosciuszko on Saturday, 18 March 2023 – or – if you’re unable to attend the event, or for those who want to design their own challenge, you can get involved virtually.

You can walk or run 25kms – 1km for every 1,000 Australians who lose their battle with a rare cancer every year. Or you can set your own goal to reach between 1 and 18 March 2023. Be as creative as you like, the sky’s the limit!

Putting the Challenge to your family, friends and colleagues

Why not join forces with your loved ones and create a team to conquer Kosi? Or if you’re the competitive type, gather your family, friends or colleagues and make a contest out of it!

Spreading the word

When you register, share your fundraising page on your social media pages or send it around to the people in your life to get a head start on reaching your target.

Keep an eye out on the #KosiChallenge posts that we publish on our Rare Cancers Australia Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn pages too and share what interests you. Together, we can raise important funds and awareness for rare, less common and complex cancers.

All funds raised from the Kosi Challenge goes towards Rare Cancers Australia’s work to improve the lives and health outcomes of Australians with rare, less common and complex cancers.
