Pseudomyxoma Survivor

Pseudomyxoma Survivor is dedicated to supporting those affected by pseudomyxoma peritonei (PMP), appendix cancer and other peritoneal surface malignancies through practical and emotional support. We also raise awareness and support research.

We’re a patient and caregiver run organisation offering advice on managing symptoms and all aspects of living with this rare disease; we advocate for patients and more. As well as all this, we’re people you can share experiences and your story.

If you’ve found Pseudomyxoma Survivor, chances are you’ve been affected in some way by pseudomyxoma peritonei (PMP), appendix cancer or another peritoneal surface malignancy. We’re here to provide emotional support and practical advice, through an online community that’s proven to make a real difference.

When you are newly diagnosed with PMP, it can be very confusing, almost bewildering. There are so many expressions to learn and options to understand. We’re here to help with that. Our information about pseudomyxoma peritonei is written by patients and reviewed by specialists. This gives you an insight from your point of view that you know is correct.

RCA is not affiliated with this organisation. It is the responsibility of the patient and their carer(s) to determine whether this or any other support group or organisation listed on this website may provide some benefit to them.
