Counterpart connects, supports and informs women living with cancera disease where abnormal cells split without control and spread to other nearby body tissue and/or organs to live well.
We are a free and confidential service of Women’s Health Victoria. Our Peer Support Volunteers have experienced a cancer diagnosisthe process of identifying a disease based on signs and symptoms, patient history and medical test results and are here to listen and support you. We also run events online and across Victoria, and provide reliable information.
From the beginning, we have listened to the needs of our service users and provided services such as exercise programs and information and creative sessions. In later years, following feedback from women using our services, we have introduced a centralised place to find information: the Counterpart Navigator app, reflexology appointments, visits to women in hospitals and online webinars and workshops.
RCA is not affiliated with this organisation. It is the responsibility of the patient and their carer(s) to determine whether this or any other support group or organisation listed on this website may provide some benefit to them.
