The Asbestosis and Mesothelioma Association of Australia (AMAA) was established to offer assistance, information and guidance to people affected and/or concerned about asbestos.
The AMAA is a dedicated not-for-profit organisation committed to supporting those affected by asbestos and silica. We provide access to specialised health professionals, legal assistance, and peer support groups.
Our mission is to educate, advocate, and empower individuals and communities, ensuring they have the resources and support to navigate these challenging conditions.
AMAA provides support to sufferers of asbestos disease and their families. We are an organisation developed by patients for patients. We seek to improve health and support services for people with asbestos related diseases, their families and the broader community. Our goals are that sufferers of asbestos related diseases will be offered a better quality of lifethe overall well-being of a person diagnosed with cancer, encompassing both physical and emotional aspects of health and have access to greater treatment options and care.
