Associate Professor Pearly Khaw is currently the lead Radiation Oncologista doctor who specialises in treating cancer with radiation therapy in Gynae-Oncology at the Peter Mac. She has over 20 years of experience in radiation oncologythe study, diagnosis and treatment of cancer, 16 of those years specialising in the management of gynaecological cancera disease where abnormal cells split without control and spread to other nearby body tissue and/or organs patients.
She is a Clinician-Researcher and is actively involved in the Australian and New Zealand Gynae-Oncology Group (ANZGOG), where she is a current Board Director. Her responsibilities include the Audit, Riskthe possibility that something bad will happen and Compliance Committee, as well as being an active member of the Research Advisory Committee and the Uterine Tumoura tissue mass that forms from groups of unhealthy cells Type Working Group.
Associate Professor Khaw has been involved in endometrial cancer research for over 10 years as a part-time clinician-researcher. She has published many articles in high-quality journals and secured significant competitive grant funding for trials.
