Our impact
For more than a decade, Rare Cancers Australia has made great progress in raising awareness of the challenges facing Australians with rare, less common and complex cancers. Through a constant media presence, policy research, signature events and collaboration with other cancer and patient organisations, we have been instrumental in shining a light on rare cancers. In particular, we have put the challenges rare cancer patients face in accessing lifesaving and life-extending treatments in the spotlight.
It is imperative that we continue this work to achieve better outcomes for this group of cancer patients and their families.
