Rare Cancers Australia transformed the iconic Sydney Town Hall
into a Glamour and Ghastly Halloween extravaganza on Friday 25th
October 2019. Now in its sixth year, RCA scare4rare Halloween Charity
Ball has proven to be Sydney’s Halloween Event of the Year. Classically themed
with dinner candles and gold charger plates, black and red roses and an amazing
ceiling canopy of fairy lights.
Entertainment personality
Angela Bishop captivated the crowd as MC, ensuring guests felt welcome and
relaxed while enjoying a magnificent meal from caterers Restaurant Associates. 7-piece
Baker Boy Band kept the guests dancing late into the night with amazing music.
The night was undoubtedly
a great success. With the help of our sponsors who donated fantastic prizes for
our raffle, live and silent auctions along with our enthusiastic and generous
guests on the night, donations raised will assist our Patient Care Team to
continue their efforts supporting rare cancer patients. There are no words of
appreciation great enough for everyone’s contribution.
Other than a truly
successful fundraising event, it was an evening of gratitude and thanks. RCA
have had many wins in 2019 and this night was to acknowledge the support of all
our partners, sponsors and patients. These relationships are invaluable and
precious. They give the team at RCA the encouragement and drive to continue to
champion for patients, families and loved ones affected with a rare or less
common cancer.
