Australia transformed the iconic Sydney Town Hall into a spooktacular Halloween
extravaganza on Friday 26th October 2018. Now in its Fifth Year, RCA
scare4rare Halloween Charity Ball has
proven to be Sydney’s Halloween Event of the Year. Themed with a Mad Scientist twist, guests braved their
white wigs and laboratory coats and applauded the room when the curtains raised
to reveal a majestic ballroom full of eccentric centrepieces and incredible
Kelly Cartwright once again inspired the crowd with her story of strength and
courage. TV Personality Ed Phillips worked his debonair magic on stage as MC,
ensuring guests felt welcome and relaxed while enjoying a magnificent meal of
Ora King Salmon, Black Angus Beef and completing the 4-course meal with a crazy
selection of themed desserts including Exploding Macaroons and Mad Scientist Scorched
Hair, all served on a platter fit for a Mad Scientist!
was full of entertainment with acrobat and aerialist Simon Crawley commencing
the show. Wowing the audience with his Cyr Wheel act, a spectacular vision
performed alongside opera vocalist Angela Grima. Solo performer Phil Davidson
charmed the audience with his vocals and guitar while the outstanding music
from Pragmatics 11-piece band kept the guests dancing late into the night to a
soundtrack of R&B hits and 80’s classics.
