The Disrupting Cancer series aim to challenge the current mindset and way of approaching broader issues related to cancer. Featuring presentations from respected high profile experts who think outside the box of mainstream cancer conversations.

DAY 2 – Wednesday 19 October | Old Parliament House
THE PATIENT VOICE INITIATIVE
Day 2 of the Forum is designed to provide a platform for patients and other stakeholders to consider how to enhance the patient contribution in determining treatment preferences. Representatives including government, industry, clinicians and academics will meet with patients and consumer groups to discuss, engage and better understand both patient needs and preferences and how we might best hear and heed the patient voice. Speakers will include leading researchers in the area of patient engagement and specific facilitated sessions are scheduled to elicit the views of patients, consumer groups and other key stakeholders.
Attendees who have registered for Day 2, are invited to attend a dinner held at Old Parliament House on the evening of Tuesday 18 October, at no extra charge. If you would like to attend this note this during registration.
Patients and members of volunteer patient groups can apply for a travel grant when registering. Please note in the comments section when purchasing your tickets.
